Below Deck Star Nathan Gallagher Shared Future Plans in Season Finale Before Arrest Warrant Was Issued

Nathan Gallagher, 28, declared he would “always come out on the other side” in the final episode of Below Deck Mediterranean, filmed months before he became a wanted fugitive.

The season 11 finale aired on October 5, capturing Gallagher in a confessional recorded well before his December 27 arrest in Sydney on assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent, and common assault. At the time of filming, he was still with Gael Cameron, 24, the mother of his infant son Kayden Cameron Gallagher, born June 2025.

“I’ve had a rough season, but I know what’s important,” Gallagher said during the episode. “I don’t know what the next move is, but I want to focus on my family.”

The couple’s relationship crumbled after the arrest. They unfollowed each other and separated in March 2026, with Cameron later taking to Instagram to address the fallout once the charges became public. “Hey guys, I just want to say thank you so much for the support you’ve shown for Kayden and I,” she wrote. “It’s been a tough season, but I have been using the past few months to quietly heal and rebuild for little man and myself.”

Cameron continued: “I really appreciate the love you have sent our way, especially while everything that’s come to light, and I’m really working on finding myself again and moving forward.”

Gallagher and Cameron had met as deckhands during season nine of Below Deck Mediterranean. Cameron told Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2024 that they “got on like a house on fire” from their first encounter.

The finale also captured tension between Gallagher and co-star Joe Bradley during a night out that devolved into another confrontation. Bradley remarked that things would be “so much easier” if Gallagher wasn’t a father, prompting Gallagher to warn him not to disrespect his family and girlfriend. When Bradley asked if Gallagher intended to hit him, Gallagher fired back: “Do not tempt me. So keep your mouth shut.”

After his Sydney arrest, Gallagher was granted conditional bail but failed to appear at Burwood Local Court on September 1. Judge Janine Lacy convicted him on all three charges in his absence, stating, “I find the offenses proven,” and issued an arrest warrant. Gallagher has since maintained that the public has not heard the “full story,” calling the situation “complicated.”

His mother told media outlets exclusively that her son is “in Sydney,” though his precise whereabouts remain unknown to authorities. The NSW Police Force has appealed for public assistance in locating him.

Bravo, which airs Below Deck Mediterranean, released a statement addressing Gallagher’s future with the franchise as he remains at large.

The network’s season finale now carries an unintended weight, with Gallagher’s closing words about resilience and family serving as bookends to a downward spiral that would see him convicted of violence against a domestic partner and fleeing justice.

Gallagher is scheduled to appear at Burwood Local Court in Sydney whenever he is apprehended.
