Benny Blanco has shared some personal photos from his wedding to Selena Gomez, which prompted a specific observation from fans.
The couple celebrated their nuptials in a glamorous black-tie event at a secluded 70-acre estate just north of Santa Barbara, California. This location is about an hour and a half drive from Los Angeles along the coast. The wedding took place on Saturday, September 27.
Selena Gomez, known for her role in Wizards of Waverly Place, looked stunning in a fitted, high-neck white gown adorned with ruffled details and carried a simple bouquet. Her hair was styled in classic Hollywood waves, and she completed the look with Tiffany & Co. drop earrings.
Benny Blanco opted for a stylish tuxedo, deviating from the traditional white shirt by choosing a bold blue one with a matching pocket square.
Blanco made the announcement on Instagram, posting a collection of wedding photos accompanied by the caption: “I married a real life disney princess.”
One image showed a sizeable ring on Gomez’s finger, while Blanco, aged 37, chose a traditional gold band.
In the comments section, fans repeatedly noted that the wedding resembled a fairytale.
One fan commented: “A princess and her prince. Could not be happier for you two!”
“This is the ending every Disney movie needed,” another person remarked.
Another added: “YESSSS REAL LIFE PRINCESS RIGHT THERE!!!”
The sentiment was echoed by another user who wrote: “The happiest ever after.”
“Best caption ever. Selena has always been Disney queen,” another fan agreed.
Gomez and Blanco previously worked together on the track ‘I Can’t Get Enough,’ released in February 2019, with its music video debuting the following month, according to Billboard.
Blanco also co-produced Gomez’s song ‘Single Soon,’ released in August 2023. At this time, the two had not publicly confirmed any romantic involvement.
By December of that year, Gomez confirmed their relationship, responding to Instagram comments calling Blanco her ‘absolute everything’ and revealing they had been dating for six months.
A year later, on December 12, 2024, Gomez announced their engagement.
She shared four images: one of her hand with the ring, another of her in a garden admiring the ring, a selfie displaying her ring to the camera, and a final picture of her in Blanco’s arms.
Her caption read: “Forever begins now.”
Their journey from engagement to marriage has indeed been swift.
