Benny Blanco once shared an intimate detail about his relationship with Selena Gomez.
The former actor, now a singer, publicly confirmed his relationship with music producer Benny Blanco in December 2023. The duo had previously collaborated on the successful track ‘Single Soon’.
Blanco, known by his real name Benjamin Levin, co-produced the song released in August 2023, and the two have seemed inseparable since then.
About a year into their relationship, the famous couple announced their engagement. In December 2024, Gomez took to Instagram to share a series of images featuring her engagement ring and her fiancé.
The couple frequently shares affectionate posts on Instagram, but a recent post caught fans’ attention due to a surprising item in the backdrop.
Among the 16 images, one showed Gomez autographing photos for fans from her couch, which appeared innocent enough.
However, a fan zoomed in on the windowsill behind her and noticed a bottle of lubricant among the other bottles.
The fan posted a screen-recording zooming in on the Instagram photo, captioning it: “No shade to Selena and Benny, I’m just a nosy fan who wants to see all the products my fav celebrities use and came across this specific product on her windowsill. Love that Benny is keeping our girl happy and satisfied. Loooove this couple!”
Despite the NSFW discovery, Blanco has openly shared glimpses of his love life with Gomez.
In April 2024, he wrote on his Instagram Story: “I woke up early this morning and I was like: ‘I want to do something nice for my girlfriend’. I was thinking, whenever I want to put a smile on her face or get laid, I just make her steak.”
Blanco and Gomez have also channeled their chemistry into their new song ‘Cowboy’, which, intriguingly, isn’t about horses.
Producer Blanco shared with Spotify: “You can almost say anything. It’s like saying your deepest darkest secret, and it doesn’t count because it’s in a song.”
“It was really interesting getting to learn things about you that I’m not sure I’d be able to get out if we were in a different arena,” he continued.
Gomez added: “Yeah, that was so crazy that while we were doing this album, we told each other [so much] – because mind you, the whole album isn’t just about my life. It’s about your experiences, our experiences together.”
