Beyoncé has returned to the cover of i-D Magazine for the first time in two decades.
The 43-year-old superstar appears on a special Cécred edition of the British publication for October 2026, photographed by Blair Caldwell and styled by Shiona Turini. She wears nothing but a cream-toned fur stole, sheer black tights, sky-high stiletto heels, and layered diamond jewelry for the striking image.

The cover marks a significant milestone for her hair care brand, which is expanding into the UK market. For the shoot, Beyoncé’s hair was parted at the side and styled in damp curls cascading down her face using her own Cécred products, with longtime stylist Neal Farinah handling the look.
The diamonds came courtesy of Tiffany’s Blue Book 2024 collection. She wore a chunky choker inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s Apollo brooch, featuring 10 Fancy Intense Yellow diamonds weighing more than 19 carats layered over more than 89 total carats of round brilliant white diamonds.
She stacked multiple rings, a coordinated bracelet, and a nameplate necklace reading “Cécred.” One standout ring from the same high jewelry collection drew from Schlumberger’s vintage sketches and showcased a rare pear-shaped fancy brown-pink diamond of more than 10 carats, circled by a halo of round brilliant white diamonds.

In a deliberate nod to the brand, Beyoncé steps on one of her Cécred product caps with her stiletto heel in the cover image. The magazine has released only this single photograph so far, promising additional images when the print edition arrives. The eight-page spread is available for online purchase and ships on Nov. 10.
A full interview remains withheld from digital release, but Beyoncé did offer one quoted statement about building the brand.
“I had a vision to build something that solved real problems and performed so incredibly that the people who can’t stand my music still use Cécred, haaaa! … because it works,” she said.

Her previous i-D cover came in August 2006, when she appeared in an embellished Prada dress. The 20-year gap between covers spans a period of massive transformation in both her music career and her move into entrepreneurship with Cécred.
The hair care line launched earlier and has since become a significant venture for the Houston-born artist, who has increasingly focused on building business empires alongside her recording and touring work.
The UK expansion represents Cécred’s latest growth phase as celebrity-founded beauty brands continue competing for shelf space in an increasingly crowded market.
The October 2026 issue hits newsstands with the full spread and interview in the coming weeks.
