Rapper and online personality Bhad Bhabie has shared that she recently received worrying news related to her cancer diagnosis, while continuing to keep most specifics about her condition private.
The rapper and social media star previously said doctors found cancer roughly two years ago, when she was 20. Since then, she has largely avoided discussing details publicly as her music and adult modeling careers have continued to grow.
Now 22, Bhad Bhabie (Danielle Bregoli) posted a brief update on X on Saturday, telling followers she’d gotten “bad news” at a recent appointment.
She did not explain what the update meant or identify the type of cancer. However, she made clear she believes the final outcome isn’t determined by doctors, writing that “god has the last say so not my cancer.”
Earlier signs that something was going on health-wise surfaced in November 2024, after fans commented on her noticeable weight loss. In response, she said she was undergoing cancer treatment.
She wrote: “I’m Sorry my cancer medicine made me loose weight. Im slowly gaining it back. So stop running w the worst narratives.”
Even with increased concern from supporters, she didn’t expand on whether she was describing an active cancer diagnosis or taking medication for another reason. With few details available, some people online questioned whether she was being truthful.
Her mother, Barbara Ann, pushed back hard against that speculation and aimed her anger at celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, who suggested Bregoli was fabricating the claim.
In a heated statement, her mother said: “How dare you, you little vile piece of s**t say my daughter would lie about something like that.” She continued: “And, I pray to God that none of your children never get cancer, okay? I’ve had it twice. How dare you say my daughter is faking this.”

From later posts, it appears her diagnosis has remained an ongoing backdrop while she builds on the fame she first gained in 2016 after her televised “Catch me outside, how ’bout that?” moment, and transitioned into a rap career under the Bhad Bhabie name.
After a series of procedures toward the end of 2024—including breast augmentation, a nose job, and removal of silicone from her butt—some fans criticized her, questioning how someone with cancer could have cosmetic surgery.
She responded: “I don’t know who told y’all you can’t get surgery when you have cancer. I was cleared by my dr mind the business that pays you.”
She also said she consulted “top doctors” before each procedure and rejected claims that the surgeries were a cover for cancer-related treatments. She added: “Y’all mfs[sic] so worried about me and y’all don’t even know what kind of cancer I have! It’s not breast cancer that is a rumor.”
Bregoli still has not publicly confirmed the specific form of cancer. However, some reports have suggested it could be a blood cancer, based on a January 2025 post referencing a high white blood cell count, per TMZ.
