Bill Belichick, 73, experiences awkward interruption by 24-year-old girlfriend during interview when questioned about their meeting

In a recent interview, NFL icon Bill Belichick experienced an unexpected interruption by his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, during a question about how they first crossed paths.

The couple made headlines last year when they appeared together at the American Museum of Natural History gala in New York City, revealing their relationship to the public.

Belichick, aged 73, is significantly older than Hudson, who is 24 years old, making her 49 years his junior.

While the exact timing of their first meeting is still under wraps, People magazine suggests they met in 2021 on a flight from Boston to Florida, where they were seated next to each other.

The publication further notes that their relationship officially began in 2023.

During an interview with journalist Tony Dokoupil for CBS Sunday Morning, Hudson interrupted when Belichick was questioned about how and where he met her, seated in the background and listening in.

A former college cheerleader, Hudson interjected with a firm ‘we’re not talking about this’, as the CBS host broached the subject with Belichick.

Dokoupil mentioned on the show that the pair preferred not to discuss their relationship, noting Hudson’s ‘constant presence’ throughout the eight-minute segment that aired on CBS.

The legendary NFL coach shared his personal approach: “I’ve never been too worried about what everybody else thinks. Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right.”

Given their noticeable age difference, Belichick and Hudson naturally attract public attention and commentary.

In a humorous moment, Snoop Dogg jested about the couple at February’s NFL Honors, which was taken in stride by both.

The rapper quipped during his monologue: “I’ve been a football fan for a long, long time.”

“I remember back when the Cowboys was good, I remember back when the Chiefs was bad.”

He added: “And I remember [when] Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet.”

The camera captured Hudson’s surprised reaction, but she soon laughed at the joke, as did Belichick, who found it amusing.

Fans online enjoyed the playful jab, with one calling it ‘classic Snoop’.

One commenter remarked, “Appropriate roast,” while another said, “I love Bill Belichick but that’s hilarious! Wtg Snoop!”

Hudson, who studied at Bridgewater State University, was involved in cheerleading and even took part in the World Championships in February 2024.
