Rumors are swirling about a possible romance between Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley after the model posted a casual photo of the two over Easter.
“Happy Easter,” was the simple caption the 59-year-old British model used on Instagram, alongside a photo of 63-year-old country star Billy Ray giving her a kiss on the cheek.
In the Easter-themed photo, Billy Ray donned green bunny ears and had his arm around Hurley, who was smiling as she leaned into him. The post has sparked widespread speculation, though the pair have yet to confirm the nature of their relationship.
“How many of us were like WAIT WHAT when we [opened] the app and saw this?!!” one commenter said, expressing surprise. “Did not see this one coming.”
Actress Melissa Gilbert added: “Wait…What?”
“Who else totally did not have this one on their 2025 bingo card?” another chimed in.
“What in the Hannah Montana is going on,” a fourth noted, referencing the Disney show starring Billy Ray’s daughter, Miley Cyrus, in which he also appeared.
This apparent new relationship comes shortly after Billy Ray finalized his divorce from Firerose last summer. Their marriage lasted only eight months before he filed for annulment, citing alleged fraud.
Court documents reveal that Billy Ray claimed he was induced into marriage under false pretenses, stating he “would not have entered into the bonds of matrimony” had he known the truth.
He also cited “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate martial conduct” as reasons for their breakup.
Recently, Billy Ray has been involved in a public feud with his adopted son, Trace, following a controversial performance at Donald Trump’s inauguration, which was marred by technical issues.
Trace, a 35-year-old musician, criticized his father for the performance and publicly encouraged him to seek help.
In an emotional open letter, Trace wrote, “As I write this with tears in my eyes I hope you realize this message only comes from a place of love and also fear that the world may lose you far too soon,” adding that he’s been sober for over a year and suggesting that his father should also seek help.
Firerose also commented on the situation, telling PEOPLE, “What’s being seen in public now reflects much of what I experienced in private during our relationship.”
“It’s very sad to see those same struggles continue for him, but I’m glad the truth is coming to light — for his potential good because healing is only possible when you confront the truth and accept there’s a problem,” she said.
In Billy Ray’s personal life, he was previously married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991, and then to Tish Cyrus, with whom he shares three children: Miley, Noah, and Braison.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Hurley was married to businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2011. She also had a long-term relationship with actor Hugh Grant from 1987 to 2000, dated late Australian cricketer Shane Warne from 2011 to 2013, and shares a son, Damian Hurley, with the late American businessman Steve Bing.
