Kristi Noem’s husband has allegedly been living a ‘secret life’ after a report claimed he has been engaging in a ‘bimbofication’ fetish.
Kristi Noem, who served as Secretary of Homeland Security until she was dismissed from the post in March, married Bryon Noem in 1992. The couple share three children, and a new report suggests she was unaware of alleged online interactions involving her husband and women connected to a specific sexual fetish.
Daily Mail reported that a photo appears to show Bryon taking a selfie while wearing oversized fake breasts, lipstick, and pink shorts.
The outlet also cited accounts it says came from women who communicated with him.
According to the Progressive Therapeutic Collective, ‘bimbofication’ is a kink and/or fetish practice that involves turning yourself into a stereotypical ‘bimbo’.
Descriptions of the fetish commonly include exaggerated feminine features, including greatly enlarged breasts achieved through props such as balloons or prosthetics, or through surgical methods such as saline implants.

One specialist in gender dynamics, Katarina Polonska, said the alleged connection would not be unusual from a psychological perspective.
“The pattern of a high-visibility political figure’s household being connected to this subculture is, psychologically, entirely consistent with what I see in my private practice.”
She told Forbes she wasn’t surprised by the possibility that Bryon could be involved in such a community.
Polonska also suggested that men who are especially focused on their reputations may be more likely to seek an outlet that feels like the opposite of their public image, potentially tied to insecurity or a diminished sense of self.
Another expert, Dr. Karen Stewart, reportedly suggested a different explanation, saying the clothing and presentation could also be connected to associations with a mother figure or another woman.
A further interpretation is that the appeal may involve being treated as a sexual object, mirroring the way women are often objectified. Urban Dictionary defines ‘bimbofication’ as:
“The process of transforming into an airheaded s***, perfectly happy to be used and degraded.”

As described in the report, Bryon’s alleged preference centered on “3000cc-plus” breasts, according to one of the women quoted by Daily Mail.
“His kink is for huge, huge ridiculous boobs,” she said.
Daily Mail further alleged that the 56-year-old sent $25,000 in exchange for images.
The outlet also claimed he responded by sending photos of himself that were similarly “bimbofied,” using the name ‘Jason Jackson’—including images where he allegedly wore fake breasts and short shorts.
A spokesperson said to represent the family described Noem as overwhelmed by the allegations and asked for space as they processed the situation.
“The family was blindsided by this. They ask for privacy and prayers at this time.”
In a separate prior interview from 2022 with Elysian, Noem characterized her household differently.
“We are such a transparent family.”
She also referred to her family as ‘an open book.’

President Donald Trump, who previously employed Noem, was asked about the story by Daily Mail reporters and said he felt sympathy for the family if it were true.
“They confirmed it? Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that’s the case, that’s too bad.”
“I haven’t seen anything,” Trump added. “I don’t know anything about it. That’s too bad, but I just know nothing about it.”
According to the report, some of the alleged activity took place while Noem was still leading the Department of Homeland Security, with some commentators warning such circumstances could create vulnerabilities, including hacking or blackmail risks.
Former CIA officer Marc Polymeropoulos said:
“If a media organization can find this out, you can assume with a high degree of confidence that a hostile intelligence service knows this as well.”
He continued:
“Damaging information like this can be a tantalizing lead for a hostile intelligence service.
“They approach the person and say, if you work with us we won’t expose this, and if you don’t, we will. That’s espionage 101.”
After leaving DHS, Noem has since become the Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas, a military coalition that was established by Trump.
