Biohacker Aspiring to ‘Live Eternally’ Reports a ‘34% Increase in Nighttime Erections’ with Botox

A biohacker with aspirations of achieving indefinite longevity has claimed a 34 percent increase in nighttime erections due to using Botox injections.

Bryan Johnson is involved in a rigorous experimental medical regimen aimed at ‘reversing aging.’

His methods, which include adhering to a stringent diet and utilizing his son’s blood, are all part of his quest to maintain optimal biological youthfulness.

Alongside his rigorous lifestyle focused on nutrition and physical activity, the 47-year-old Johnson has invested nearly $2 million in treatments he believes will preserve his youthful appearance for the foreseeable future.

Recently, Johnson discussed the impact of Botox on his nighttime erections, which are reportedly an indicator of overall health.

“We set out to increase my nighttime erections. NTEs are a strong biomarker of cardiovascular, psychological and sexual health,” he shared on social media.

To achieve this improvement, Johnson commenced a combination of shockwave therapy and Botox.

Studies indicate that Botox injections in the penile area may enhance erections by relaxing the muscle tissue within blood vessel walls.

Conversely, shockwave therapy involves a device that delivers ‘shocks’ to the penis via non-electrical means.

Johnson has understandably described the experience as painful, rating the discomfort a ‘9/10’ at ‘the tip.’

In a Twitter post, Johnson clarified that although he had been using Tadalafil, a medication for erectile dysfunction, his sexual performance was typical before beginning these interventions, and in 2024, he embarked on a journey to enhance his erections.

“Over the following months, I started two nighttime erection health interventions: focused shockwave therapy & botox. I then completed follow up measurements,” he detailed.

“2024 Nighttime Erection follow ups:

“Aug 2024: 3 hr 15 min.

“Oct 2024: 2 hr 59 min.

“Dec 22 2024: 3 hr 2 min.

“Dec 23 2024: 2 hr 32 min.”

He concluded: “Conclusion: my nighttime erections improved by 34%, independent of Tadalafil.

“… At baseline, I had already been on 2.5 mg of Tadalafil for two months. Since research shows it restores lost function but doesn’t enhance normal function (my function was normal), we assumed it didn’t have any impact and even if it did, it was already reflected in the baseline.

“The increase in nighttime erections appear to be a result of the focused shockwave and Botox therapy, which raised NTEs to around 3 hours and brought my night time erection biological age to around 20.”

Johnson also noted receiving messages from numerous men regarding erectile dysfunction and the societal stigma surrounding it.

“Many men have told me that posting this all publicly has been the most helpful thing I’ve shared. ED is common, but most don’t talk about it. 40% haven’t even told their doctor. There’s stigma around using interventions like Cialis, as the perception is it makes you less of a man,” he continued.

“Men, if you’re not performing how you’d like, there are many paths to improvement. There’s no shame in this and in fact will make you more of a man to address it head on.”
