Biohacker using son’s blood to ‘reverse aging’ reveals unusual details of his ‘everyday routine’

A ‘biohacker’ who has taken the unconventional step of using his son’s blood in an effort to reverse aging has provided an intriguing glimpse into what a ‘typical day’ looks like for him.

At 47 years old, Silicon Valley entrepreneur Bryan Johnson has managed to slow down the aging process through an array of lifestyle modifications, treatments, and therapies.

Johnson claims this rigorous regimen has given him the ‘heart of a 37-year-old’ and the ‘lung capacity of an 18-year-old.’ However, this transformation involves much more than staying hydrated and getting adequate sleep.

Johnson is candid about the procedures he has undergone in his quest to reverse aging. His methods include DNA editing, self-administered stem cell injections, and even blood exchanges with his son. Recently, he provided more details by detailing a ‘typical day’ in his life.

Reversing the effects of aging appears to be a demanding, full-time commitment that lacks any semblance of glamour.

On Twitter, Johnson shared an update on Monday (October 14) that outlined his daily accomplishments, which began with the collection of semen samples in two glass vials.

As expected, the process is far from glamorous.

Johnson disclosed further details of his day, noting that after filling the vials, he applied the substance to a dried blood spot card.

The description became even more graphic when he mentioned that he filled ‘five tubes with [his] stool.’

His daily agenda also included: “Performing a cheek swab, pricking his fingers 10 times, initiating blood glucose monitoring, and having all his plasma removed and replaced with Albumin.”

While such activities may seem like a hospital ordeal to some, Johnson concluded his update by emphasizing this was merely a ‘typical day.’

He collaborates with a medical team that monitors his health, although he serves as a ‘human guinea pig’ for numerous extreme procedures.

In a follow-up post, Johnson elaborated on having his plasma removed, explaining that the goal was to ‘remove toxins from [his] body.’

He noted: “The operator, who’s been performing TPE (total plasma exchange) for nine years, remarked that my plasma is the cleanest he’s ever encountered. By a significant margin. He was amazed.”

“When we completed the procedure, he couldn’t bring himself to dispose of it. He envisioned how much good it could do in the world.”

In addition to the more invasive aspects of his age-reversal initiative, Johnson maintains a strict daily regimen at home. This includes monitoring his body fat and heart rate, taking various medications and supplements, and adhering to a disciplined diet.
