Brad Pitt reportedly “choked” one of his children with Angelina Jolie and “grabbed” his then-wife by the head during their now-infamous 2016 private jet journey.
The “Maleficent” actress, 47, filed a countersuit alleging that the “Fight Club” actor, 58, “choked one of the children and hit another in the face” and “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her.”
“At one point, he poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children,” the documents also claim.
According to the countersuit, Jolie attempted to intercede at one point and “grabbed” her then-husband from behind in an attempt to stop him.
“To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane’s seats, injuring Jolie’s back and elbow,” the documents alleged.
“The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop. They were all frightened. Many were crying.”
The FBI began an investigation against Pitt for suspected child abuse in September 2016.
However, police decided not to press criminal charges against the award-winning actor, who announced his sobriety in September 2019.
A United States Attorney’s Office representative decided not to pursue Pitt based on talks with the case agent.
“It was agreed by all parties that criminal charges in this case would not be pursued due to several factors,” the records noted.
A source close to the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star said in August that “Angelina and her team have been desperately trying to find something,” adding, “This is all for show. This is all information that she already had five and a half years ago. There is nothing new here.”
In the current countersuit, Jolie’s attorneys argue that the FBI agent who examined the claims had “probable cause to charge Pitt with a federal crime for his conduct that day.”
Just days after the alleged aircraft altercation, the “Tomb Raider” star filed for divorce from Pitt.
Maddox, 21, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 16, Vivienne, 14, and Knox, 14, are the former couple’s six children.
“It’s incredibly sad that she continues to rehash, revise and reimagine her description of an event that happened 6 years ago, adding in completely untrue information to try to get additional attention for herself at the expense of their family,” a source said.
“She had the opportunity to share information with law enforcement who made the decision not to press charges. She had the chance to share this during the lengthy custody trial, which resulted in the judge granting 50-50 custody to Pitt. She has resorted to trying to keep rehashing the same thing. Going back to the same thing month after month with new and still false information for purposes that only she can understand,” the source added.
The countersuit was launched on Tuesday in response to a case Pitt brought months earlier against Jolie over the sale of her interest in their French château.
In the prior filing, the “Moneyball” star stated that neither party would sell their stake in Château Miraval and its valuable vineyard until the other agreed.
According to the records, this cross-complaint “asks the Court to certify that no such ‘consent’ agreement exists.”
In the petition, Jolie also says that Pitt “demanded she sign a non-disclosure agreement that would have contractually prohibited her from speaking outside of court about Pitt’s physical and emotional abuse of her and their children.”
“Jolie refused to agree to such a provision, and Pitt walked away from the deal,” the documents allege, adding that any agreement about the château is “void” due to Pitt’s effort to condition the deal based on “Jolie’s silence.”
