Bravo has cut ties with Nathan Gallagher after Australian police issued an arrest warrant for the Below Deck Mediterranean star.
Gallagher, 28, failed to appear for a September 1 court date in New South Wales, prompting a judge to proceed with the domestic violence hearing in his absence and issue the warrant. NSW Police Force announced the same day that officers from Ryde Police Area Command were appealing for public assistance to locate him, stating he was “believed to be offshore.” The force described him as Caucasian with a fair complexion, about 165cm tall, with a medium build, and noted he was known to frequent Sydney’s Ermington and Melrose Park areas.
The network behind the Below Deck franchise confirmed its decision through a spokesperson, who told The Los Angeles Times: “Bravo does not plan on working with Nathan in the future.” Gallagher had appeared across three seasons of Below Deck Mediterranean, including the most recent installment that premiered in June. Filming on that season concluded before his initial arrest on December 27, when he was taken into custody and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent, and common assault. He was subsequently granted conditional bail. The charges are understood to involve his former partner and castmate Gael Cameron, with whom he shares a young son born last year.
Despite the warrant and conviction, Bravo reportedly has no plans to edit Gallagher out of the current season. The judge who proceeded with the September 1 hearing emphasized the gravity of the case, stating: “The offenses themselves are very serious, with significant maximum penalties.” The court found that evidence proved the accusations of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent, and common assault.
Gallagher had addressed the allegations in an interview the previous month, acknowledging he had “made mistakes” while insisting the public lacked the complete picture. “I’m willing to respond because I don’t believe the public has heard the full story surrounding what happened,” he said. “I understand NSW Police have confirmed my arrest in December 2025. What has been publicly reported, however, represents only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation.”
He continued by claiming to possess evidence that had not entered the public domain. “I have contemporaneous video footage from the night in question, as well as messages and other records, which I believe provide important context and show events that have not been publicly reported,” Gallagher added. “I am willing to provide the relevant footage so that you can make your own assessment of what it shows.”
The former reality star also expressed concern about the long-term impact on his family. “One day he will be old enough to see everything that has been said about his parents, and I don’t want his childhood turned into a public battle,” he shared, identifying his son as his “biggest concern.”
