Bridget Fonda has been spotted again in Los Angeles, marking another rare public appearance since her Hollywood retirement.
The former actress, 62, was photographed running errands with a friend on Tuesday, dressed in a plain black shirt, loose-fitting black trousers, an oversized white button-up and white sneakers. The sighting comes weeks after she first debuted a noticeable weight-loss transformation.
Fonda initially revealed her slimmer figure last month when photographers captured her grabbing lunch in Los Angeles. For that outing, she wore a tank top that showed off her trimmed physique and styled her hair in an updo. She has reportedly lost over 100 pounds.
The “Single White Female” star has become an increasingly uncommon presence in public life since walking away from acting 25 years ago. Her final project was the TV film “The Snow Queen.”
Fonda, 62, left Hollywood to focus on raising her son Oliver, now 21. She has largely stayed out of the spotlight with her husband, composer Danny Elfman, 73, whom she married in 2003.
The couple’s relationship has faced public scrutiny in recent years. In 2017, Elfman was accused of sexual harassment by a fellow composer who alleged multiple instances of sexual misconduct. Elfman denied the claims, and the parties settled for $830,000.
A second woman came forward in 2023, accusing the Grammy winner of getting naked in front of her several times and touching himself while she slept next to him between 1997 and 2002.
His spokesperson told the Hollywood Reporter at the time, “The allegations of misconduct made against Mr. Elfman are baseless and absurd.”
Throughout the controversies, Fonda has remained by Elfman’s side. In 2023, she confirmed she would not return to acting, explaining it was “too nice being a civilian.”
Before this month’s errand run, Fonda’s most notable recent sighting came in May 2025, when she was photographed returning to Los Angeles from a trip with Elfman. That marked her first public appearance in 16 years.
