Britney Spears Declares She Won’t Perform in US Anymore Due to ‘Very Sensitive Reasons’

Britney Spears has declared she will not perform in the United States anymore.

The last significant live show from Spears was during her ‘Pieces of Me’ tour, which wrapped up in Austin, Texas, in October 2018.

Following this, she took a break from the music scene to concentrate on her conservatorship case. This legal battle, which ended successfully in 2021, freed her from her father Jamie Spears’ control over her career, personal life, and finances, which had been in place since 2008.

Her relationship with her sons, 20-year-old Sean Preston and 19-year-old Jayden, was reportedly strained during the duration of her conservatorship. Despite facing mental health challenges, Spears has been actively working on mending her bond with them, especially her younger son Jayden, often sharing photos of him online.

The siblings were primarily raised in Hawaii, where they reside with their father, Kevin Federline, who disclosed controversial details about Spears in his memoir released last year.

In a recent Instagram post, Spears announced her intention to give her white piano to her son, describing him as a ‘huge star’.

With a nostalgic photo of herself at the piano, the singer wrote: “Sending this piano to my son this year!!! Interestingly enough, I dance on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about. Yup and it’s embarrassing sometimes… but I walked through the fire to save my life.”

Discussing future performances, Spears added: “I will never perform in the U.S. again because of extremely sensitive reasons but I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son… in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon. He’s a huge star and I’m so humbled to be in his presence!!! God speed, little man!!!”

According to Mail Online, while Spears didn’t specify which son would receive the piano, it is likely her 19-year-old son, Jayden.

Reports suggest Spears recently celebrated Christmas with Jayden. A source told PEOPLE: “Britney had a fun time celebrating Christmas with Jayden — it’s been such a special holiday.”

Additionally, a source shared with Us Weekly: “She had an amazing time with Jayden on Christmas. They laughed a lot and bonded more than they have in a while.”

It is believed that Sean Preston spent the holiday with his aunt, Jamie Lynn Spears.
