Britney Spears Reveals True Story Behind Losing Her Virginity After Three Decades

Britney Spears has recently revealed the person she lost her virginity to, breaking her silence on the subject for the first time in nearly thirty years.

At 43, Spears has become more candid about her personal experiences, particularly since the end of her 13-year conservatorship with her father in 2021.

Last year, the pop icon reached an out-of-court settlement with her father, the details of which have not been disclosed.

She has also published a new memoir titled “The Woman in Me,” where she shares parts of her life that were previously kept private.

In her memoir, Spears explains how her public image was carefully crafted by her publicists at the start of her career, preventing her from disclosing when she lost her virginity.

She wrote: “The truth was, if you’re young and single in Hollywood, if there’s even a rumor that you’ve had sex, you’re labelled a slut. So my team created this whole narrative around me.”

Spears indicated that this crafted narrative was difficult to maintain publicly, especially during her well-known relationship with Justin Timberlake.

“Given that I had so many teenage fans, my managers and press people had long tried to portray me as an eternal virgin – never mind that Justin Timberlake and I had been living together, and I’d been having sex since I was fourteen,” she revealed in “The Woman in Me.”

Spears shared in her memoir that she lost her virginity at the age of 14 to her brother’s childhood best friend, recalling that she was a freshman while he was a senior.

Even after her split with Timberlake in 2002, she continued the narrative imposed by her team, claiming in 2003 that her first sexual experience was ‘two years into my relationship with Justin.’

“Why did my managers work so hard to claim I was some kind of young-girl virgin even into my twenties? Whose business was it if I’d had sex or not?” the ‘Toxic’ singer questioned in her book.

Spears asserted that she was ‘marketed as the eternal virgin,’ a narrative she described as false, and felt ‘shamed like I hadn’t followed the script.’

Following the conclusion of her 13-year conservatorship in 2021, Spears expressed that she wouldn’t wish the ‘pain’ she endured on anyone and found it ‘extremely hard’ to come to terms with her family’s actions during that time.
