Britney Spears speaks out to distant family in surprise Christmas message

Britney Spears shared an enigmatic message directed at her family in a surprising Christmas post.

Yesterday (December 28), the pop star took to social media with a post that quickly grabbed her fans’ attention, seemingly directed towards her estranged family members.

“Merry late Christmas to my beautiful family who have never disrespected me, harmed me, ever done anything completely unacceptable or caused unbelievable trauma, the kind you can’t fix …,” her Instagram update stated.

“To my dear sweet innocent family … so so sorry I was busy this Christmas but I will definitely show up and surprise you soon … I can’t wait …. hello, beautiful Ivy … I just want to hold you, my love … Godspeed, friends.”

In a subsequent video uploaded just hours later, the ‘Toxic’ artist is seen dancing suggestively in her underwear accompanied by a detailed caption.

“Have you guys seen the movie ‘Trash’ ??? … Such a beautiful title … RIGHT MURICA … The most beautiful things I have found have been in the trash. Am I saying I’m beautiful, readers ???” it partly read.

“Why, no !!! I believe we’re all the same, I’m not better than anyone nor are you better than me !!! We are just people on a journey living to proceed and protect our hearts.”

The posts coincide with renewed interest in Spears’ personal life following disclosures from her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Two months ago, Federline published his memoir, You Thought You Knew, which contains several disturbing claims about the singer’s conduct and mental well-being.

The 47-year-old, who was married to Spears from 2004 to 2007, shares two sons with her – 20-year-old Sean Preston and 19-year-old Jayden James. In his book, he asserts that Spears would occasionally enter their sons’ rooms at night holding a knife and simply stand there watching them.

Conveying his concerns, Federline writes: “It’s become impossible to pretend everything’s okay. From where I sit, the clock is ticking, and we’re getting close to the 11th hour.

“Something bad is going to happen if things don’t change, and my biggest fear is that our sons will be left holding the pieces.”

This year, Spears has frequently made headlines with a series of unconventional Instagram posts, often featuring dance videos and cryptic captions referencing her family, fame, and past experiences.

Federline also critiques the #FreeBritney movement in his book, proposing that although supporters had positive intentions, the outcome may not have supported Spears as much as anticipated.

The fan-driven campaign highlighted her situation widely, leading to the termination of the 13-year conservatorship in 2021.
