Brooke Hogan Shares Heartbreaking Last Talk with Father Before His Passing

Brooke Oleksy, the daughter of Hulk Hogan, has shared the poignant details of her final conversation with her father before his passing.

On July 24, Terry Bollea, better known as WWE icon Hulk Hogan, died from a heart attack at his Florida residence at the age of 71.

A private funeral was held for him on August 5, attended by close family members including his son Nick, ex-wife Linda Hogan, and his widow Sky Daily, but his daughter Brooke, aged 37, was notably missing. This absence sparked criticism and speculation about her relationship with Hogan, with rumors suggesting they were ‘estranged’ prior to his death.

Although Brooke has admitted to some distance between them in recent years, she maintains that their relationship was not severely strained.

Brooke, now a mother of two, was also left out of her father’s will, a decision she states was voluntarily made due to a family dispute over financial matters.

In response, Brooke has expressed intentions to take legal measures against those she believes are spreading false information about her in the media.

Amidst the swirling rumors, Brooke has now opened up about her last conversation with her father.

In an interview with TMZ, she discussed the so-called ‘estrangement,’ describing it more as a ‘boundary’ issue. She said, “So I didn’t like certain people he was around. It wasn’t Sky [Daily], it was a number of people that I did not trust, that I had seen behavior in, and I said, ‘Dad, flashing yellow signs.’ Like, ‘Hey, this is messed up. Are you going to do anything about it?'”

During one of their final interactions, Hogan conveyed, “Well, I guess you have to live your life and I have to live mine,” which Brooke described as the sentiment they left off on.

Elsewhere in her interview, Brooke recounted an incident involving a contractor who had witnessed an interaction between her and Hogan.

“The contractor texted me – and said, ‘Are you OK, kid? That hurt me watching what I saw.’ My dad had become a little bit callous in his old age, and that’s OK,” she elaborated.

Brooke also mentioned that Hogan had made some ‘hurtful comments’ during their exchanges.

She explained her absence from the funeral as a decision based on her father’s dislike for the somber nature of funerals. Instead, she honored him by visiting the beach with her husband and children.

Earlier this week on Instagram, Brooke wrote, “Daddy, we honored you in the simplest way that agreed with my soul. We took our babies to the beach, and put them in the same salty waters you loved.

“We love you and honor the things that made you so special. Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me of being your beach baby, and brought us closer to you.

“I pray you are at peace and know how dearly I love you. Rest in heaven, Daddy.”
