Brooklyn Beckham Shares Emotional Tribute to Nicola Peltz After Brutal Family Feud Swipe

Brooklyn Beckham has shared a loving public tribute to wife Nicola Peltz, days after his appearance in a DoorDash campaign reignited attention on the Beckham family rift.

The 26-year-old has remained at the center of speculation about tensions between David and Victoria Beckham and their eldest son, with the fallout continuing into 2026.

Since Brooklyn and Nicola married in 2022, their relationship with the Beckham family has been closely scrutinized, especially after a string of social media moves and public absences deepened the impression of a prolonged estrangement.

That scrutiny intensified in January, when Brooklyn made a series of claims about his family and suggested their involvement in his marriage had been overbearing.

The discussion flared again after he appeared in a DoorDash advert tied to the FIFA World Cup 2026.

In the commercial, Brooklyn sat on a sofa and addressed viewers directly.

“You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home.”

He then laughed before adding:

“It’s a long story.”

At another point, he tossed his tickets onto a coffee table as the advert displayed:

“It’s complicated. More soon.”

Many viewers took that as a reference to the ongoing estrangement, and reactions online were divided. Some branded the advert tasteless, while others said it was a bold move.

Just days later, Brooklyn shifted the focus back to Nicola with a heartfelt Instagram tribute marking six years since he proposed.

He wrote:

“6 years ago I asked my best friend to marry me x You are my girl, my beautiful wife, and my whole heart.”

He continued:

“Every day with you feels like the best adventure, and I still can’t believe I get to do life with you. You make everything brighter, funnier, sweeter, and more magical just by being you,” he continued, as the post showed a photo of the pair smiling next to each other. “I can’t wait to keep laughing, dreaming, and staying young with you forever. I love you more than words, Nicola.”

Nicola replied in the comments with a message of her own.

“i couldn’t possibly love you more. you’re my world, my rock and my soulmate. i love you a million times over and i love being your wife. thank you for loving me so perfectly.”

Brooklyn and Nicola married on April 9, 2022, in a high-profile ceremony at her family’s Palm Beach, Florida estate, attended by around 500 guests. They had become engaged two years earlier.

Within months, reports began to emerge of friction between Nicola and Victoria.

Page Six reported that matters behind the scenes had become difficult, describing it as a

‘full-on cold war’

and adding:

‘the build-up to the wedding was horrendous’

with sources also claiming they

‘can’t stand each other and don’t talk’.

Other reports suggested the disagreement was partly linked to Nicola choosing Valentino for her wedding dress rather than wearing a design from Victoria’s label, although that explanation was later played down.

By March 2023, the family appeared to be on good terms publicly, with Brooklyn and Nicola attending Victoria’s Paris fashion show and posing for pictures.

But in 2025 and 2026, a series of absences and unfollows reignited the feud narrative. Brooklyn and Nicola were not seen at key Beckham family events, and reports also claimed there had been tensions involving Brooklyn and his brother Romeo.

In January 2026, Nicola reportedly removed Beckham family photos from her Instagram, adding to speculation that the relationship remained strained.

That same month, Brooklyn shared a statement on Instagram Stories in which he made a series of claims about his family, including allegations that his parents had tried to interfere in his marriage, had always

‘controlled’

his life, and that

‘Brand Beckham’

was put before everything else.

When Brooklyn turned 27, David posted a public birthday tribute.

“27 Today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you.”

He reportedly included an old childhood photo and tagged Victoria, though Brooklyn himself could not be tagged because he had blocked his father.

There was no public response from Brooklyn.

More recently, on June 12, 2026, David celebrated receiving a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, with Brooklyn notably absent from the ceremony. Just over a week later, David marked Father’s Day with a family post that included Brooklyn among the photos, suggesting the rift remains public, but not necessarily frozen forever.

Then, on June 21, 2026, Brooklyn’s tribute to Nicola added another clear message: whatever is happening with his family, he remains firmly focused on his marriage.

A representative for Brooklyn and Nicola responded sharply to earlier coverage of the feud.

“That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.”
