Brooks Nader has traded her signature red for black leather.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 29, stepped out at Fox’s “Baywatch” panel in Cannes Tuesday in a full Pamela Anderson tribute look. Nader wore a black leather corset, matching leggings, knee-high boots and opera-length gloves, with her blond hair styled in a voluminous blowout and pushed-up sunglasses completing the ensemble.
The outfit directly channeled Anderson’s 1996 superhero film “Barb Wire,” in which the Canadian star played the titular bounty hunter. Nader’s homage stopped short of one iconic detail: Anderson’s famous barbed wire bicep tattoo.

Nader has been practically living in “Baywatch” red during recent public appearances, including at last month’s Emmys. The steady stream of crimson looks has served as promotional groundwork for her upcoming role in the beach franchise revival.
She is set to play Selene, a captain of the Zuma Beach lifeguards, in the reboot. The cast includes Shay Mitchell, Livvy Dunne and Noah Beck alongside original series veterans like Kelly Packard.

Production has already begun on the series. The cast was spotted filming earlier this year with Nader and her co-stars wearing the franchise’s iconic one-piece swimsuits on the beach.

The role has already changed Nader’s personal style off-camera. She said Style in June 2026 that the project convinced her to abandon string bikinis entirely.

“I’m 100% into one-pieces,” she said.

Anderson originated the “Baywatch” phenomenon as C.J. Parker across five seasons of the 1990s hit and its 2003 reunion movie, cementing the red swimsuit as pop-culture shorthand for California beach glamour. Her “Barb Wire” turn came at the height of her fame, adapting the Dark Horse Comics character for a big-screen action vehicle that became a cult touchstone despite mixed critical reception.

Nader’s Cannes appearance marks her most direct visual connection to Anderson’s legacy yet, moving beyond color-coded promotion to explicit cinematic reference. The model has leaned heavily into her casting as a career pivot point, using red-carpet visibility to build anticipation for her acting debut.

The “Baywatch” reboot does not yet have a confirmed premiere date.
