Cardi B delivers strong message to ICE agents as she launches inaugural headline arena tour

Cardi B has joined a number of celebrities in criticizing ICE as controversies surrounding Trump and his immigration policies continue in the US.

Many well-known figures, from musicians to actors, have recently spoken out against ICE, with some using the Grammy Awards as a platform to highlight these issues.

Among them, Kehlani used her time on stage while accepting the Best R&B Performance award to address the audience: “Everybody is so powerful in this room and in this room later, together we’re stronger in numbers to speak against the injustice going on in the world right now.

“So instead of letting it be just a couple of you here and there, I hope everyone’s inspired to join together as a community of artists and speak out against what is going on and imma leave this and say ‘f**k ICE.”

Cardi B, who recently performed with Bad Bunny during his historic Super Bowl appearance, mirrored these views during the first night of her ‘Little Miss Drama’ tour, in a video that has since gone viral.

She declared: “B*tch, if ICE come up in here we gonna jump their a**es.”

“They ain’t takin my fans, b*tch. Let’s go,” Cardi B continued.

The audience responded with cheers of approval before she launched into her track ‘I Like It,’ a song with strong Latin music influences co-written with Bad Bunny.

The viral moment has seen many people praising Cardi B for her stance.

One person commented: “Cardi B using her first arena tour to take a stand against ICE is why she’s untouchable. While other artists play it safe, Cardi is out here promising to ‘jump’ anyone trying to take her fans.”

Warning: The video contains strong language

“It’s that real talk energy that fans love about her,” said another supporter.

“This is exactly why her fanbase is so loyal. She doesn’t just perform,” someone else added.

Some have also pointed out that her stance contrasts sharply with that of fellow rapper Nicki Minaj, who has recently expressed support for President Trump. This relationship with the POTUS has led to backlash against the ‘Starships’ singer.

During an appearance on The Katie Miller Podcast, Minaj was asked about her reasons for supporting Trump.

“Religious freedom is something that’s very important to me,” Minaj explained. “But if I’m being honest, President Trump, because when I saw how he was being treated over and over and over, I just couldn’t handle it.”
