Cardi B fiercely addresses ‘disrespectful’ pregnancy rumors about ex Offset and partner Stefon Diggs

Cardi B expressed her frustration towards a reporter who questioned her about rumors of being pregnant.

The rapper, known for her hit song ‘I Like It’, was leaving a Los Angeles courtroom on September 2 when she encountered a group of journalists.

One journalist asked her about the speculation surrounding her potential pregnancy with a fourth child and the child’s paternity. Cardi immediately addressed the question with displeasure.

In an Instagram video, the reporter is heard asking Cardi if she anticipates any paternity issues, given the rumors about her pregnancy, her divorce filing from her estranged husband Offset, and her romantic involvement with NFL star Stefon Diggs.

Initially calm, Cardi took a pen from someone nearby, seemingly to sign an autograph, but then appeared to throw it at the reporter.

Cardi B labeled the inquiry as ‘disrespectful’, accusing the reporter of sexism for asking about the rumors.

“Stop disrespecting me,” she remarked. “You’re disrespectful. Don’t do that.”

The musician then questioned why she rarely received such questions from female journalists.

She asked: “Do you see women asking those types of questions to me?

“Why do you feel, as a man, you get to ask me those types of questions?”

Despite the reporter claiming it was a legitimate question, Cardi remained unfazed.

Before leaving in a waiting SUV, she advised the reporter: “Act like you have some manners and your mama taught you – respect women.”

This incident follows Cardi B and Offset’s divorce filing, with Cardi announcing their separation during a live Instagram video.

She stated: “I have been single for a minute now but I have been afraid… not afraid I just don’t know how to tell the world.”

On Twitter, she later posted: “[Offset] you a b***h ass n**** and trust me imma f**king take it there.”

Cardi continued: “Mother f**ker will try you when you are at your lowest and your most vulnerable time. You out here feeling yourself but trust me tables turn.”

In addition, Cardi has faced several court appearances due to a lawsuit from a former security guard who claims Cardi scratched her face and spat on her at a Beverly Hills obstetrician’s office in 2018, as per court documents obtained by NBC News.

The rapper admits to having a verbal exchange with the security guard, but denies any physical contact or spitting.
