Cardi B’s shower habits have left her fans both surprised and a bit uncomfortable.
While personal washing habits can vary, most people tend to follow a similar procedure.
Typically, you start by turning on the water, stepping in, grabbing a loofah, applying soap, and scrubbing the entire body. Following this, you wash your hair and face.
However, the rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, has an unusual routine that deviates from the norm.
The 33-year-old, who is expecting her fourth child, recently shared her shower routine, which fans believe lacks an important step.
Cardi B revealed this information during an Instagram Live session with her 163 million followers.

In a video from her Live shared on social media platform X, she confessed she hadn’t washed her natural hair in a few months.
She mentioned that she hadn’t ‘washed my s***’ for about two or three months but planned to oil and wash her scalp before braiding it soon.
“I probably got all types of roach eggs, mosquito eggs, everything in this b***h right here,” she humorously commented, tapping her head.
Her remarks left social media users quite surprised.
“Ima throw up for real,” commented one user, while another expressed: “Wtffff.”
A third person added: “So f**king gross.”
Yet, some people supported her, with one individual noting that their hair ‘thrives a lot better when I wash it once a month’.
Another person remarked, “I know ppl who don’t wash their hair for months.”
Cardi B has long been candid about her hair journey, previously explaining how ‘being mixed don’t mean your hair is always long and curly’.
“Since I was a child, I have problems with managing my hair, and couple years ago, I find different methods that work for me and look at my length now,” she shared on Instagram in 2021.
“They’ll try to make us believe our hair won’t grow this long it’s not true. A lot of hair products we used back then wasn’t good for our hair but that’s all we had to choose from also we couldn’t afford to get to the salon regularly, if at all.”
She emphasized: “I want women of color with tighter curl patterns to know that you don’t have ‘bad hair.’ There’s no such thing as bad hair, and ‘good’ hair don’t mean a certain texture. All hair is good.”
Cardi B isn’t the only celebrity who has made surprising hygiene revelations. In 2019, Taylor Swift received some criticism online for sharing the part of her body she prefers not to wash.
