Equipped with a map of Southern Nevada and bicycles as their transportation method, the pair embarked on their journey on a Thursday morning. They covered an impressive distance of 129.5 miles, not just setting a new record but surpassing the previous one significantly.
According to Guinness World Records guidelines, participants must engage in table games or electronic table games, as slot machines are not permitted. Strasser and Smith managed to visit 115 different casinos in Las Vegas.
After their achievement was officially recognized by adjudicator Michael Empric, Smith expressed his gratitude, saying, “First of all, we want to thank the sponsors, this is awesome!
“We had a big team that helped us. Thank you everyone for all your help!”
Strasser added, “This record was tough. We knew when we decided to undertake it, others had tried and failed.
“We looked at it and said we are going to figure out a way to do this. It was so hard. Thank you so much guys.”
