Cassie leaves the US with no intention of returning following multi-million dollar Diddy settlement

Cassie has reportedly relocated permanently outside the United States, a year after giving testimony in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ federal sex crimes case and later receiving a multi-million dollar settlement.

The singer spent four difficult days in court as the prosecution’s key witness during Combs’ widely watched 2025 federal trial involving allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering.

On the stand, she described her decade-long relationship with the music executive in explicit detail, alleging it was abusive. Cassie said she first met him in 2005 when she was 19 and he was 37.

Combs was ultimately sentenced to 50 months in federal prison after being convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution, and he was also ordered to pay a $500,000 fine.

New filings tied to Cassie’s continuing legal dispute with male escort Clayton Howard, submitted in May 2026, indicate she is no longer living in California.

“I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States.”

Howard, a male sex worker, is suing both Cassie and Combs, alleging the two hired him for drug-fueled encounters sometimes described as “freak offs,” which became a major focus during the seven-week trial.

In court, those sessions were characterized as meticulously planned, drug-fueled sex marathons that Combs allegedly arranged, directed, and recorded.

Cassie has said she was pressured into taking part, and alleged the sessions at times lasted for days.

She previously reached a multi-million dollar settlement after filing a lawsuit against Combs in November 2023.

TMZ has reported that the settlement totaled about $30 million, with $20 million said to have come from Combs and the remainder reportedly paid by a hotel connected to an incident that was captured on video.
