Cassie shares ‘traumatizing’ last encounters with Diddy following the end of their ‘abusive’ decade-long relationship

Cassie Ventura has accused Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of raping her following the end of their relationship that lasted ten years.

Currently, Sean Combs is on trial facing charges for racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking, and two counts of transportation for prostitution. He was indicted by a grand jury and arrested in September 2024. The rapper has denied all the charges against him.

R&B singer and dancer Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, is a former partner of Combs and has been called to testify in the trial of the 55-year-old. This trial commenced on May 12.

Ventura first brought her allegations to light in November 2023 by filing a sexual abuse lawsuit in Federal District Court in Manhattan. She claimed that Combs “frequently beat” and raped her in 2018, which Combs “vehemently denied” at that point.

However, within about 24 hours, it was announced that Ventura and Combs had reached a settlement, with Ventura accepting a substantial financial settlement.

During the second day of testimony at Combs’ sex trafficking trial, Ventura reiterated her claim that Combs came to her home and raped her, while also detailing other alleged incidents around the time they ended their relationship.

On the stand, Ventura stated that Combs visited her house and “raped [her] on [her] living room floor”.

She described the encounter: “His eyes were black. It was like taking something from you,” she said.

According to the singer, Combs “continued” despite her tears, and after he “finished,” he “got up and left”.

“I just remember crying and saying no, but it was very fast,” she recounted.

Ventura further alleged that in August 2018, during a “closure conversation at a restaurant in Malibu,” Combs tried to persuade her to attend Burning Man with him.

The two exchanged messages, with Ventura noting she “checked in” with Combs, who allegedly mentioned having “iPads full of images” and demanded she “get him his money”.

She also claimed that due to “Sean coming around a lot,” she kept a knife nearby—a photograph of the knife and her front door in “2018” was presented in court.

Ventura mentioned that she did later engage in consensual sex with the rapper, reflecting: “We’d been together for over 10 years. You just don’t turn feelings off.”

In addition to these claims, Ventura referenced the alleged “freak offs” and other incidents, stating “it’s much deeper than iPads” and there “was abuse, more than freak offs,” which left her feeling suicidal and led her to seek “trauma therapy”.

She expressed: “There was a time I couldn’t take the pain, tried to walk out in traffic. My husband wouldn’t let me. I had trauma therapy.”

Ventura also disclosed that she experienced “PTSD” and incidents of “sleepwalking”.
