Cassie’s Husband Shares His Emotions After Her Testimony in Diddy Trial

Cassie Ventura’s husband has expressed his deep feelings about his wife following her difficult testimony and cross-examination in the ongoing trial against Diddy.

This week, the widely-publicized trial against Sean Combs, who is better known as Diddy, featured emotional testimony from his former girlfriend. Combs is facing serious accusations, including sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution, charges he denies.

In the New York courtroom, Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura spoke about alleged physical abuse during her 11-year relationship with Combs, from 2007 to 2018, and her involvement in his so-called ‘freak off’ sex parties.

Cassie, now 38, described ‘freak offs’ as situations where she was made to have sex with other men, usually escorts, while Combs watched and directed, including one instance where an escort urinated in her mouth.

Her husband, Alex Fine, has now spoken out about witnessing and hearing this distressing testimony.

Alex, aged 32, married Cassie in 2019 after they met soon after her relationship with Combs ended.

The couple has two children and is expecting a third, with Cassie recounting abuse she faced while eight months pregnant during her testimony.

As the trial concluded its first week on Friday (May 16), Alex released a statement addressing Combs and those who supported him. Cassie’s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, read it outside the court.

The statement reads: “I have felt so many things sitting there. I have felt tremendous pride and overwhelming love for Cass. I have felt profound anger that she has been subjected to sitting in front of a person who tried to break her.”

“Please know this: You did not. You did not break her spirit nor her smile that lights up every room.”

Addressing online speculation, he stated: “I did not save Cassie, as some have said. To say that is an insult to the years of painful work my wife has done to save herself. Cassie saved Cassie.”

“She alone broke free from abuse, coercion, violence, and threats. She did the work of fighting the demons that only a demon himself could have done to her. All I have done is love her as she has loved me.”

Cassie’s testimony detailed the humiliation and physical toll from the sex parties, including ‘painful’ infections, mouth sores, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and PTSD following the end of the relationship.

The jury also viewed CCTV footage of Combs assaulting her in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016, an incident Cassie said occurred after she tried to escape a violently turning ‘freak-off.’

Alex has remained supportive of Cassie throughout this ordeal, previously posting on Instagram when the footage surfaced: “Men who hit women aren’t men.”

In 2019, he reportedly participated in a marathon to raise awareness about domestic violence.

Continuing his public support, he praised Cassie’s bravery: “You did not break the soul of a mother who gives the best hugs and plays the silliest games with our little girls. You did not break the woman who has made me a better man.”

In court, the defense claimed Cassie loved Combs and suggested her participation in the ‘freak-offs’ was consensual.

The trial is ongoing.
