A catastrophic wildfire in Los Angeles has forced approximately 180,000 residents, including several celebrities, to evacuate their homes. The fire began on the evening of January 7 and was rapidly spread by hurricane-strength winds reaching up to 100 mph, propelling it from the Pacific Coast to Pasadena.
Numerous videos capturing the devastation have surfaced online, showcasing the intensity of the blaze. At least four additional fires have since emerged in the area.
According to officials, the two largest wildfires have resulted in the deaths of at least 10 people and the destruction of over 10,000 homes and other structures. Authorities have strongly urged more residents to comply with evacuation orders as a new, rapidly growing fire has ignited.
Among those affected are numerous celebrities who have been forced to abandon their homes as fires consume large swathes of Los Angeles.
