Channing Tatum’s Hilarious One-Word Reaction to His Daughter Potentially Watching Magic Mike

Channing Tatum has recently shared his thoughts on what it will be like when his daughter discovers his Magic Mike performances.

It’s a situation many celebrities might face as they bring children into the world.

While everyone has past actions they’d prefer their kids not know about, celebrities deal with such issues under the scrutiny of millions of fans.

Tatum has confessed that he isn’t eager for the day his 11-year-old daughter learns about Magic Mike.

In the 2012 film, Tatum plays Mike Lane, a male stripper.

The movie is loosely based on Tatum’s own experiences as an 18-year-old male stripper in Tampa, Florida.

During a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote his upcoming film Blink Twice, Tatum discussed taking his daughter, Everly, to see the Taylor Swift Eras Tour.

He also attended the show with his fiancée Zoë Kravitz in London, noting the experience was quite different.

Talking on the show, he said: “I saw it in LA with my daughter.

“Seeing it with your daughter is very different because you know, you gotta like go in.

“I was dancing like I’d never danced before.”

Meyers responded, “That’s a lot coming from you,” referring to Tatum’s Magic Mike days.

Tatum added, “Well you also have to make sure you’re not dancing like you dance, you know what I mean?

“There was none of this,” he said, demonstrating a body roll.

“There was zero of that.”

Reflecting on the awkward topic, he said: “I’m so grateful that she doesn’t know how I dance.

“It’s going to be horrifying when it does.”

In a previous interview with Entertainment Tonight, he mentioned he will eventually reveal his real-life stripping past to his daughter.

He said: “When she’s old enough to watch them, we’ll have that conversation.

“There’s no version of me not having the conversation of ‘Dad didn’t just do them in movies, I was an actual stripper’, so I’m not gonna lie to her.”

During his stripping days, Tatum, known as Chan Crawford, reportedly earned $50 a night plus tips.

A casting agent noticed him, leading to a feature in Ricky Martin’s She Bangs music video.

This exposure helped him secure several modeling jobs, eventually leading to acting roles in Hollywood.
