Charlie Sheen’s daughter attributes their estrangement to a specific issue, claiming they ‘haven’t talked in a year’

Charlie Sheen’s daughter, Sami Sheen, has openly discussed her strained relationship with her father, a Golden Globe-winning actor.

Sami, one of Charlie’s five children, recently made a candid statement online, highlighting the fact that they ‘haven’t spoken in a year’. At 21, she gained significant attention after launching an OnlyFans account at 18, subsequently claiming to have achieved millionaire status through the platform. She shared a video on TikTok, lip-syncing to a 2011 interview between her father and ABC’s Andrea Canning.

Accompanying the video, she wrote, “When people wonder why I haven’t spoken to my dad in a year but this is my dad,” with the caption ‘pretty much sums it up’.

During the interview, Canning questions Sheen: “Are there any drugs in the house?”

Sheen humorously responds: “If there are, you better find them and give them to me immediately.”

He continues, “No, there are not. Not that I know about. If I know about them, I’ll find them and throw them away. It’s not a big deal.”

He then sarcastically remarks on the question, saying, “‘Ooh, drugs in the house, ah, we’re all gonna die.’”

The brief video has been viewed over 2.5 million times, prompting mixed reactions from viewers.

One person commented: “I still don’t understand why u haven’t spoken to him.”

To which another responded: “Emotional boundaries are important.”

Another viewer wrote: “I like your dad but good for you, stay away from toxicity.”

A third person noted: “TikTok is crazy bc I remember back in 2011 wondering what his kids would think of all this & in 2025 I’m watching em cope with humor in real time.”

Supporters of Sheen defended him, with one noting: “Charlie Sheen is six years clean and sober. Move On!”

Others acknowledged Sami’s feelings towards her father, with one stating: “He’s literally her dad.”

Another user commented: “You’re totally justified your dad has said and done some horrible things that are also horrible for you. He’s toxic and it’s not your job to heal him.”

Regarding his daughter’s OnlyFans venture, Sheen previously expressed his initial concerns to Bustle. He admitted his initial reaction was apprehensive due to the site’s reputation but eventually came around.

He said: “I had a knee-jerk reaction to it because of the reputation that preceded it. I was just like, ‘Oh, this can only go bad’.”

The actor explained that his reaction was atypical, attributing it to the fact that it involved his daughter.

Sheen noted: “I think when your child is involved, it presents as just a whole different alternative set of circumstances.”
