Child asserts being a woman reincarnated, recounts chilling tale of past life death and seeing ‘God’

The parents of a five-year-old have been left unsettled by their son’s claims that he was once a woman named Pam who perished in a fire.

As a child, I enjoyed pretending to be various characters, but I never imagined I had been reincarnated, like young Luke Ruehlman from Cincinnati, Ohio. He is convinced that he was once Pam Robinson, a woman who lost her life in a fire at the Paxton Hotel in Chicago in 1993.

This revelation might be distressing for Pam’s family, but Luke’s mother, Erika, is inclined to believe her son.

The name Pam emerged when Luke was just two years old. He began mentioning a mysterious woman by that name.

Luke’s mother, Erika, recounted the story to Fox8, describing how she asked him who Pam was. Erika recalled, “He turned to me and said, ‘Well, I was. ‘Well, I used to be, but I died and I went up to heaven. I saw God and then eventually, God pushed me back down and I was a baby and you named me Luke’.”

Hearing such words from her son was unsettling, and it became more concerning as he provided further details about his ‘past life’.

Luke spoke of taking train rides in Chicago, despite having never visited the city.

Curious about the identity of this woman, as no one in their family was named Pam, Erika conducted some research and discovered information about Robinson.

Luke also told his mother that he had jumped from a burning building, leading to his death before being reincarnated.

Erika shared various details her son ‘remembered’ from his past life, including having ‘black hair’.

At one point, he reportedly commented, “I used to have earrings like that when I was a girl.”

Erika believes the accuracy of Luke’s statements, which he couldn’t have learned on his own, serves as ‘proof’ of his reincarnation. When presented with several photos of Black women in their 30s, Luke immediately recognized Pam.

The remarks and ‘memories’ shared by Luke led Erika to contact Pam’s family, who provided further insights into their loved one. She discovered that both Pam and Luke shared a fondness for Stevie Wonder and a passion for playing the keyboard.

Luke’s intriguing tale captured the interest of producers of a paranormal investigations television show, The Ghost Inside My Child.
