Brooklyn Beckham recently sparked a storm on social media with bold claims about his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, leaving the online community eager to separate fact from fiction.
On January 19, Brooklyn’s Instagram Stories became the center of attention when he posted an extended critique of his family, leaving his followers stunned.
While the candid nature of Brooklyn’s comments surprised many, whispers of discord between him and the Beckham family had been circulating for a while.
The suspicion of a family rift was further fueled when Cruz Beckham, Brooklyn’s younger brother, mentioned that he and their parents had been blocked by Brooklyn on social platforms.
This week, Brooklyn decided to address the situation directly, sharing his perspective online.
In his revelations, Brooklyn alleged that on the eve of his wedding to Nicola Anne Peltz Beckham, certain family members remarked that his bride was ‘not blood’ and ‘not family’.
He continued: “Since standing up for myself within my family, I’ve faced relentless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, which were leaked to the press at their behest.”
Brooklyn also recounted an incident from their wedding day, accusing Victoria of interfering with his and Nicola’s first dance.
“During our wedding with 500 guests, Marc Anthony invited me on stage, which was meant for a romantic dance with my wife, but instead, my mum was there waiting to dance with me,” he stated.
“Her inappropriate dance left me feeling uncomfortable and humiliated in front of everyone.”
Adding to the list, Brooklyn accused his mother of backing out from creating Nicola’s wedding dress at the last moment.
“My mum canceled Nicola’s dress at the last minute, despite her excitement to wear it, forcing her to urgently find an alternative,” Brooklyn explained.
As these claims emerged, many began revisiting Brooklyn’s past relationships and how those partners interacted with Victoria.
One notable relationship was with Chloë Grace Moretz, whom Brooklyn dated from 2014 to 2018.
In a 2014 interview with Andy Cohen, Moretz spoke highly of Victoria, stating, “She’s an amazing person. I really admire her work ethic and I love her line.
“I think that as a family, they’re awesome people.”
She further commented on the Beckhams’ understanding of the entertainment industry’s demands, saying they recognized “the travel, the sex scenes with random people, the crazy schedules.”
Later on the same show, she remarked that the Beckhams were ‘truly good parents’, emphasizing the importance of that quality.
Moretz also discussed the challenges of dating Brooklyn in 2016, telling InStyle that their relationship attracted significant media attention, making it difficult to enjoy private moments.
Despite these challenges, Moretz and Victoria seemed to share a friendly rapport, with Victoria humorously comparing Brooklyn’s hair to Dennis the Menace.
