Cheap Cosplay Guy Makes DIY Costumes From Household Items And They’re Hilariously Brilliant

The best cosplayers can spend a fortune recreating their favorite character’s outfits, but budget costume-maker Anucha “Cha” Saengchart has hilariously nailed DIY cosplaying using stuff he finds at home.

From Disney villain Ursula, cunningly crafted with toothpaste and lighting tricks…

…to truly inspired uses of overripe bananas.

Sometimes it’s hard to tell which is the character and which is Cha.

Cha’s cat also helps out, like in this World of Warcraft recreation.

And he takes inspiration from just about anything.

Because household objects are a budget cosplayer’s best friend.

He’s a creative genius.

And his Facebook page, Lowcost Cosplay, has over half a million followers.

He’ll take on any movie genre.

No character is too complex.

And no costume cannot be made with a little thinking outside the box (or in this case, inside).

It’s all about perspective.

And inventive use of chips and marker pens.

He’s even transformed himself into ice creams because, well, why not?
