Photographer Eric Smith captured this picture near Redondo Beach in California. The man in the photo is engrossed in his phone, and seems to ignore the amazing, endangered humpback whale just inches away from him.
If there could be one photo to epitomize the problem with our tech-obsessed generation, this would be it.
