When Faye Richards found this huddled up tom cat on her doorstep in Bristol, UK, she mistook it for a bundle of parcel tape. She was horrified to discover that it was a cat covered from head to toe in concrete.

She told the Daily Mail: “It was all over his face and absolutely solid. He was crying a lot and shivering. He could barely open his eyes.”
Faye, who owns 3 cats herself, rushed the poor cat to her local vet, knowing something was seriously wrong as “I was able to just pick him up and cuddle him even though I’d never seen him before.”
Sadly, it’s possible this could have been a deliberate attack.
“You would hate to think of someone doing this intentionally but you do hear of it happening. I can’t think of anywhere near here where there is cement for him to fall into.”
At the vets, the cat was completely shaved and, as gently as possible, staff combed the concrete out of his fur.
As the cat doesn’t have a microchip, his owners are yet to be identified. The cat is said to be recovering well at the vets where he was treated.
