Country Music Star John Rich Launches Patriotic Bank With Ben Carson and Larry Elder

Country music legend John Rich, conservative commentator Larry Elder, and retired neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson have combined forces to purchase Oklahoma’s First State Bank of Elmore City.

This purchase was made to promote American values and oppose cancel culture in the financial system. The new bank, now called Old Glory Bank, will never cancel law-abiding customers for their beliefs or for exercising their lawful rights of free speech.

The team also plan to allow customers to round up to the nearest dollar every time they make a transaction and donate the funds to charity, including the Oklahoma nonprofit organization Folds of Honor.

“It’s been dismaying to see the political weaponization of the financial system,” Rich commented. “Old Glory Bank was created to be the full banking solution for folks who still believe in freedom and the greatness of America.”

William Shine, the former co-president of Fox News and president of Fox Business News, will serve as executive chairman for the venture. The three co-founders and stockholders cleared regulatory hurdles to acquire the state’s first and oldest bank.

Old Glory Bank, a new FDIC-backed financial institution, aims to serve first responders and military personnel with no-fee accounts, free overdraft protection, and early direct deposit access.

Bennett Brown, Senior Regulatory Officer at Old Glory Bank, said that the company will use “cutting-edge digital technology” to allow customers nationwide to access their services. Brown stated that Old Glory Bank is “dedicated to serving those who serve us.”

He elaborated that the company “recognizes the unique financial needs of first responders, military personnel, and their families, and we’re proud to offer them the financial services they deserve.”

Old Glory Bank will provide various services to its customers, including free online and mobile banking, along with a 24/7 customer service line. Customers will also earn rewards points with every purchase made with their Old Glory Bank debit card.

Old Glory Bank is leading the way in providing financial services to first responders and military personnel, and Brown is confident that the company will be successful in this endeavor.

He concluded, “We’re excited to offer these services to our customers and look forward to helping them achieve their financial goals.”

Financial institutions have become increasingly hostile to free speech, leading a group of prominent conservative commentators to launch a new venture. Two months ago, PayPal unveiled a change to its acceptable use policy, which would have banned the promotion of “misinformation” and imposed a $2,500 penalty on those deemed to be in violation.
