Courteney Cox, 62, drew attention during a beach outing in Hawaii while attending her friend Jennifer Meyer’s wedding festivities.
The “Friends” alum was photographed smiling as she stood knee-deep in the ocean wearing a black bikini, layered gold necklaces and earrings, with her hair pulled back in a ponytail. She wrapped a towel around herself after taking a dip to dry off.
Cox has been open about the work she puts in to maintain her physique. She told Marie Claire in September 2022 that her mornings start with vitamins and a drink she described as “the cucumber, pineapple, ginger, and lemon thing.”
“I play tennis twice a week. I used to box twice a week, but my left knee is hurt,” she said about her fitness routine. “I also do pilates once a week. As I get older, I realize it’s more important for me to do weights. It’s amazing how I used to be really muscley but not so much anymore.”
She gave fans a more direct look at her regimen in an Instagram video posted July 2024, which showed her running on a treadmill, doing pull-ups, squats and crunches.
The Hawaii trip came amid a summer of high-profile travel for Cox. She was previously spotted on a luxury yacht off Mallorca, Spain, alongside longtime friend Jennifer Aniston and actors including Judd Apatow, Leslie Mann and Pedro Pascal. The group was photographed swimming in the ocean and participating in water sports during that excursion.
Cox and Aniston’s friendship has spanned decades since they first worked together on “Friends,” the hit sitcom that ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004. The ensemble cast also included Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry.
Following Perry’s death in October 2023, Cox spoke about her spiritual connection to her former co-star during an appearance on “CBS Sunday Morning.”
“I’m so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years,” she said. “He visits me a lot, if we believe in that.”
She continued, “I’ve talked to my mom, my dad, Matthew. I feel like there are a lot of people that are… I think they guide us. I do sense, yeah, I sense Matthew’s around for sure.”
Cox described Perry as “probably one of the funniest human beings in the world” during the same interview.
The actress rose to fame playing Monica Geller on “Friends” and later starred in “Cougar Town.” She has remained active in Hollywood while maintaining a visible presence on social media, where she frequently shares glimpses of her personal life and fitness pursuits with followers.
