Courtroom Witness Discloses Diddy’s Startling Reaction Upon Being Found Guilty on 2 of 5 Charges at Trial

A courtroom observer in New York has disclosed the startling manner in which Diddy responded to being convicted on two out of five charges during his widely-publicized trial.

After two months, the jury in New York reached a decision on Wednesday, July 2, in the trial concerning sex trafficking and prostitution involving Sean Combs, known as Diddy.

The prosecution’s case against Combs included charges of racketeering conspiracy and two counts each of sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution.

The five charges were:

Combs was found guilty on two counts of transportation for prostitution. He was acquitted of the two charges related to sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, as well as the racketeering conspiracy charge.

According to CNN, Combs was seated with his hands folded in his lap during the verdict announcement in court on Wednesday. He held his head in his hands upon hearing the first ‘not guilty’ verdict, and CNN noted he made a ‘subtle fist pump’ after being cleared of the second sex trafficking charge.

Defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo advocated for Combs’ release before sentencing. The judge inquired, “Mr. Combs does not want to go back to the MDC?” referring to New York City’s Metropolitan Detention Center. Reportedly, Combs vigorously shook his head ‘no’ and made a gesture of prayer hands.

Meanwhile, Courthouse News observed Combs ‘pumping his fists and nodding’ as the jury read the verdict.

Following the verdict, the team of Cassie Ventura, who testified against Combs, commented on the proceedings. Cassie, a former partner, detailed her experiences of alleged ‘freak off’ parties and the abuse she claims was inflicted by Combs.

After the Wednesday verdict, Cassie’s attorney Douglas H Wigdor told Sky News: “This entire criminal process started when our client Cassie Ventura had the courage to file her civil complaint in November 2023. Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution. By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice. We must repeat – with no reservation – that we believe and support our client, who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial.”
