Cristiano Ronaldo shatters YouTube records, gaining 20 million subscribers in a single day

Is there any record that this man can’t break?

Whether you are a soccer enthusiast or not, you’ve certainly heard of Cristiano Ronaldo – he’s the equivalent of Tom Brady in football.

Although, and this might spark some debate, Messi is arguably the superior soccer player – Ronaldo undeniably brings the wow factor.

For nearly twenty years, fans have debated who is the greatest player between the two. While some argue the title belongs to Diego Maradona or Pele, I lean towards the Inter Miami Argentine as the best.

However, all good things must come to an end. From 2008 to 2023, they dominated the scene, and now it appears CR7 is setting his sights on breaking records beyond the realm of sports.

In soccer, Ronaldo holds over 100 records – 18 of them are world records, with the rest divided among European records, various leagues he’s played in, and club records.

Now, MrBeast faces a new challenger as Ronaldo shattered the YouTube record by amassing 20 million subscribers in just 24 hours.

According to a fan account dedicated to Ronaldo, it took Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, 132 days to reach 10 million subscribers, setting the record for the fastest YouTuber to do so.

Ronaldo achieved this feat in under 12 hours.

He did accumulate that many subscribers in that timeframe but… technically it took him 44 days to reach 10 million subscribers, given his account was created on July 8 – still a remarkable achievement.

However, it seems the team behind his YouTube channel, titled ‘UR – Cristiano’ with the handle @cristiano, needed 43 days to prepare before unveiling Ronaldo to the world.

In just over a day, he has garnered more than 40 million views across the 12 videos he has uploaded, offering a fascinating glimpse into his life, family, and mindset.

Despite having only a dozen videos in his content library, the total watch time is just over 16 minutes.

These are mere previews of what we can expect from him in the future.

But the question remains, can he truly challenge MrBeast’s YouTube dynasty that began in 2012?
