Romeo Beckham appears to have distanced himself from his brother Brooklyn Beckham, following an emotional New Year’s message from their father, David Beckham, amidst ongoing family tensions.
The Beckham family, including Victoria, David, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, have not been seen together since the 2024 holiday season.
The rumored “feud” has been a major topic, with reports suggesting the discord dates back to 2022. Brooklyn, who tied the knot with Nicola Peltz, was notably absent from David’s 50th birthday celebration earlier in 2025. Additionally, Brooklyn, 26, no longer follows his parents on Instagram.
Cruz addressed the situation on Instagram, claiming that their parents did not unfollow Brooklyn, but were instead blocked by him on the platform.
“NOT TRUE,” he stated. “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”
At the same time, Romeo shared an end-of-year recap on Instagram where he conspicuously excluded Brooklyn.
“Thanks 2025 now off to an even better 2026 🤍,” wrote the 23-year-old. “Love you all @davidbeckham @victoriabeckham @cruzbeckham @kim_turnbull @harperbeckham 🥰.”
The post included images of Romeo with his parents, his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, Cruz, and Harper. The series featured memorable family moments, like a selfie of Romeo and Harper on a jet ski, and the celebration of David’s knighthood.
David also posted a 2025 family photo roundup, which did not include Brooklyn.
“I feel very lucky to have had the year I’ve had in 2025 full of moments that I will never forget from my 50th to my knighthood (still pinching myself) and then finishing with winning the MLS as an owner,” David reflected in a New Year’s Eve message.

“I’m so grateful to my incredible wife, my amazing children, my friends and team I work with every single day nothing would have been possible without you all.”
David did, however, include Brooklyn in his Instagram story by sharing old photos of all his children, including a snapshot of just him and Brooklyn.
“I’m so grateful for my family I love you all,” the former professional soccer player captioned the black and white photo. “I’m so lucky to have my amazing family,” he continued, adding on the photo of him and Brooklyn: “I love you all so much.”
He concluded with: “I’m a very lucky Daddy.”
