Debate on Workplace Masturbation: Boss Allocates Specific Breaks, Divides Opinions

A workplace policy encouraging employees to engage in self-pleasure might seem unconventional, but for one boss, it’s part of the job. Erika Lust, a director of adult films, operates an adult entertainment company in Barcelona, Spain. She offers her employees access to a designated area for personal use, known as the ‘masturbation station’.

Erika permits her team to take an optional 30-minute break to help them relax and relieve stress.

She explains the rationale behind this initiative: “The truth is masturbation can help people manage stress, regulate their sleep, and connect with their body and sexual desires, among other advantages.”

In a conversation with The News Movement, she mentioned that masturbation can help alleviate anxiety.

Although it may seem unusual to some, indulging in self-pleasure during work hours is not as rare as one might assume.

A survey reveals that 39 percent of people have engaged in this activity while on the job.

The concept of self-pleasure at the office has sparked much debate. While some are comfortable with it, others consider it inappropriate for the workplace.

The subject has been a topic of discussion on Reddit for over a decade, demonstrating that this behavior is not unheard of.

In one thread, a user asked, “Do you masturbate in the office / during work?” which garnered over 100 responses.

“Absolutely not,” one person replied. “It can wait until I get home and can get comfortable. My d**k’s not going anywhere.”

Another added, “You’re paid to work, not to jerk,” while a third stated: “No, of course not.”

Some Reddit users shared different perspectives. One user admitted to the practice, stating: “I came here expecting to see more yes’s, I guess I’ll be the first. I mean when the mood strikes there’s no stopping that train.”

Similarly, another user said: “Not regularly but I have done it. It was more for the novelty of getting paid to fap than anything else.”

However, not everyone felt comfortable with the experience. One participant recalled doing it once and feeling uncomfortable afterward.

“I did it a single time, and I will never do it again. I couldn’t look my coworkers in the eye for like an hour and felt shameful for a solid week and a half,” they shared.

“Done it once. Never again, too risky,” another Reddit user concurred.
