Demi Moore shares update on Bruce Willis’ health following dementia diagnosis

Demi Moore has shared an update on Bruce Willis’ condition following his dementia diagnosis.

In 2022, Willis stepped back from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia, a language impairment disorder.

Last year, Willis’ family announced that his condition had progressed to frontotemporal degeneration (FTD).

Since then, various family members have provided health updates about the Die Hard star, with his ex-wife, Demi Moore, being the most recent.

Despite their divorce, Moore continues to have a good relationship with Willis and his current wife, Emma Heming Willis.

On Friday, September 13, Moore made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, where she gave an update on Willis’ health.

Barrymore began by reminiscing about working with Willis on the 2003 film Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, in which Willis had a cameo.

The TV host said, “When we did Charlie’s Angels, Bruce came and played on it, and he opens up the film. And we got to work with him.

“I mean, I used to know him when he was a bartender at Cafe Central! I’ve known him my whole life, too. How is he right now?”

Moore promptly responded, “Given the givens, he’s in a stable place.”

During the same interview, Moore discussed what she’s been telling her children amid Willis’ ongoing health issues.

Moore and Willis were married for 13 years, from 1987 to 2000, and have three daughters together: Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30.

Even though her daughters are now adults, Moore continues to offer them valuable advice.

On The Drew Barrymore Show, Moore said, “What I say to my kids is you meet them where they’re at. You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but who they are in this moment.”

“And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness.”

Last month, Tallulah provided a ‘painful’ update on her father’s condition.

In an interview with E! News, she said, “Our visits have so much love and I feel that and that overarches anything for me—being able to have that connection.

“I know I know he knows how much I love him, I know how much he loves me. I know how much he loves all of us.”

She added, “We are in a very unique position where we have this platform. All of us do, all of us in our own ways have a voice and have eyes on us.”

“I think it’s been ingrained… how can we use something that’s painful or challenging or a struggle and create awareness about it or find the thing that could be supportive or healing for other people.”
