Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has reportedly sold one of his Star Island homes from prison for a major profit.

The waterfront mansion at 1 Star Island measures around 8,000 square feet. Combs is said to have bought the property from singer Gloria Estefan in 2021 for $35 million, after already owning the neighboring estate at 2 Star Island Drive, which he purchased back in 2003.

The home features six bedrooms, eight and a half bathrooms, along with a pool and spa. It has now been acquired by real estate holding company JFStar LLC for $55 million, according to The Real Deal, meaning the sale price is $20 million higher than what Combs originally paid.

The outlet reports that the sale was ‘an off-market deal’ with the buyer financing the property with a $18.5 million mortgage.

According to the same outlet, Combs still owns 2 Star Island. That property was raided by Homeland Security in March 2024 as part of the investigation into the 56-year-old.

Combs was known for hosting lavish ‘White Parties’ at his Star Island residences in Miami, an area famous for its high-profile homeowners.

Several former acquaintances have since spoken about those gatherings, alleging that ‘women were laid out’ to serve as tables.

In the documentary, The Fall of Diddy, journalist Mara S. Campo recalled:

“Puffy would have women laid out and have food on their bodies. These are things that were photographed and publicized and just viewed as kind of grand and opulent.”

In October 2025, the disgraced music mogul was sentenced to more than four years in prison and fined $500,000 after being convicted on prostitution-related charges.

The sentence came after a trial in which jurors acquitted Combs of the more serious racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking counts but found him guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution under the federal Mann Act.

Combs has been serving his sentence at a federal prison in New Jersey, and his projected release date is now listed as February 23, 2028.

A jury found him guilty on two counts of transportation for engagement in prostitution, an offense under the Mann Act, which bans interstate commerce connected to prostitution.

Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced him in New York to 50 months in prison in addition to the $500,000 fine.

The two guilty verdicts were tied to sex workers Combs paid for — one involving encounters during his relationship with singer Cassie Ventura, and another involving sessions with a different woman he later dated, who was not named during the trial.

He was cleared of the most serious charge, racketeering conspiracy, which carried the possibility of a life sentence.

His projected prison release date is February 23, 2028.

The Star Island sale marks another major asset change for Combs, whose Miami properties helped define the image of his high-profile parties for years. Star Island itself remains one of the most exclusive addresses in South Florida, with a long roster of celebrity and business owners.
