Video footage has emerged showing ICE agents reportedly pulling a disabled woman from her car in Minneapolis, sparking significant attention online.
Tensions in the city have escalated following the recent death of Renee Nicole Good, who was shot by an ICE agent.
Just a short distance from the location of Renee’s tragic incident, a different woman was observed being forcibly removed from her vehicle this past Tuesday, January 13.
The footage captures a group of masked ICE agents engaging with the woman before two of them proceed to pull her out through the driver’s side window and bring her down to the ground.
“I’ve been beat up by police before,” the woman exclaimed as she was extracted from her car.
She continued, “I’m disabled, I’m trying to go to the doctor up there, that’s why I couldn’t move. I am an autistic disabled person, I’m trying to go to the doctor.”
In the video, ICE agents are seen dragging the woman away, as a bystander questions, ‘where is your humanity?’.
Another person present at the scene can be overheard commenting, ‘all you do is hurt’.
According to The Independent, local media suggested the woman may have been attempting to ‘wedge’ the agents between her car and another, creating a roadblock.
Recent days in Minneapolis have seen widespread protests against ICE, with ICE official Charles Marcus informing Fox News that over 60 individuals have been charged with allegedly assaulting officers.
Inquiries have been made to Homeland Security for their input on the situation.
Renee, aged 37, was shot fatally in front of her spouse during an ICE protest in Minneapolis on January 7.
Kristi Noem labeled Renee as a ‘domestic terrorist’, alleging she tried to harm the ICE agent, Jonathan Ross, with her vehicle.
However, video evidence now available contradicts this, showing Renee trying to drive away when Ross fired at her three times.
Donald Trump responded to the incident on Truth Social: “I have just viewed the clip of the event which took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
“It is a horrible thing to watch. The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing, and resisting, who then violently, wilfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self-defense.”
Furthermore, he added: “Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital. The situation is being studied, in its entirety, but the reason these incidents are happening is because the Radical Left is threatening, assaulting, and targeting our Law Enforcement Officers and ICE agents on a daily basis.”
