Donald Trump Addresses ‘Awkward’ Rumor Involving Barron Trump at College

Donald Trump has addressed rumors concerning his son Barron facing difficulties at NYU, in a conversation while golfing with his granddaughter Kai.

Barron, aged 19, is attending New York University’s Stern School of Business, a prestigious institution recognized as one of the foremost business schools in the United States.

Recent reports suggested that Barron, who recently relocated from Manhattan to attend classes at NYU’s campus, is finding it challenging to form new friendships and is perceived as ‘awkward’ by some.

Nonetheless, during a golf outing, Kai, the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr., inquired about Barron’s academic experience: “How’s Barron doing at NYU?”

“Good, he’s doing good,” Trump replied without hesitation. “He’s a good boy. He loves you.”

The former president elaborated: “He said, ‘Say hello to Kai, dad’. I said, ‘Why don’t you come out and watch [them play golf]?’ He said – She’s so cute.”

Earlier this year, Kaya Walker, who was serving as the president of NYU College Republicans, expressed her views on Barron in an interview with Vanity Fair. This led to her resignation from the position.

“He’s sort of like an oddity on campus,” Walker mentioned in the interview. “He goes to class, he goes home.”

Her comments quickly attracted criticism online, with the College Republicans of America (CRA) labeling them as ‘inappropriate’ and not in alignment with their ‘values and principles’.

Following the backlash, Walker resigned from her role and defended her position publicly.

“I’ve been killing myself trying to support the conservative movement. Everybody knows that it’s an uphill battle being a Republican at NYU,” she explained to The New York Post.

Walker further expressed: “I’ve put my everything into building up my chapter. I built [attendance] up exponentially. It’s been insane, especially this past year, we’ve seen such a rise in membership and had such a great time.”

Before transferring to Washington D.C. for his studies, Barron traveled to and from the New York campus under the watchful eye of the Secret Service. He was driven from Trump Tower to an unmarked garage near the campus in a convoy of blacked-out SUVs.

Although Walker criticized Barron’s university life in New York, other students described him as quite the ‘ladies’ man’, according to PEOPLE.

“He’s tall and handsome. A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive — yes, even liberal people like him,” a fellow student shared, though another student dismissed the claim, noting ‘he’s hardly here long enough to chat with anyone let alone flirt’.
