This supermom from Texas, Yevette Vasquez, did the best thing for her son.
Last week, Yevette drove her son Elijah to school, as she always does.
When she was about to drop him off for class, she noticed that there were more cars than usual.
She asked him why, and he said it was a ‘Donuts with Dad’ event, where dads and their kids can spend time and enjoy breakfast together before they start their separate days.
Yevette is a single mom, so Elijah’s father isn’t in the picture.
Not wanting her son to feel left out and sad about being the only kid without a dad at breakfast, she turned the car around and came up with a plan.
She went back home, put on a baseball hat, plaid shirt, baggy pants, and a mustache.
She said that she was nervous about dressing up like that at first, but seeing how happy Elijah was made it totally worth it.
