Earlier this week, a Congressional hearing on ‘unidentified anomalous phenomena’ featured footage that seemingly shows a US missile being launched at a mysterious orb in Yemen.
On Tuesday (September 9), various witnesses, including military veterans Jeffery Nuccetelli and Dylan Bordland, testified to having seen unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) firsthand during the hearing in the United States.
The meeting, under the title ‘Restoring Public Trust Through UAP Transparency and Whistleblower Protection,’ was led by Anna Paulina Luna, Chairwoman of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets. She highlighted what she called a ‘lack of transparency’ by federal and intelligence entities concerning the study and disclosure of UFOs.
“We cannot maintain trust in government if we keep American people in the dark,” Luna stated.
George Knapp, a journalist specializing in UAPs, presented footage for the first time that appeared to show a ‘missile being launched’ at an orb in Yemen.
At the request of Congressman Eric Burlison from Missouri, Knapp, who is the chief reporter for an investigative unit at KLAS-TV, was asked to describe the contents of the video from October 30, 2024.
According to BBC News, Knapp said: “That’s a Hellfire missile smacking into that UFO, and bouncing right off – and it kept going.”
He noted that the strange footage was just a part of a larger collection of UAP videos that ‘Congress has not been allowed to see’.
After viewing the video, Luna questioned the other witnesses about whether the footage ‘frightened’ them. Nuccetelli, Borland, and Navy member Alexandro Wiggins all affirmed that it did.
Nuccetelli and Wiggins, two of the testifiers, informed the House Oversight subcommittee that no technology currently available to the US could withstand such a missile strike, as reported by Fox News.
While testifying, Knapp revealed documents detailing an incident where UFOs nearly triggered Russia to launch intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) at the United States.
He described the event as occurring in October 1982 and remarked on the capability of UAPs and UFOs to perform ‘incredible maneuvers’.
“They split apart, they fuse back together, they’d appear and disappear. And right at the end of this four-hour period, the launch control codes for the ICBMs lit up. Something entered the correct codes. The missiles were fired up and ready to launch, and they could not shut it down.”
According to Knapp, Russia was just ‘a couple of seconds away from World War III starting,’ stating that UFOs were responsible, as reported by Fox News.
Congressman Nick Begich from Alaska questioned Knapp about the ‘long game’ concerning this topic. Knapp responded that the ‘secret was out’ on UFOs.
“The public senses that it’s real and the people in authority dismiss them,” he noted.
Knapp suggested that those in authority believe the public can’t handle the truth, despite his own belief that they could.
NASA has stated that the space agency has yet to find any credible evidence suggesting that UAPs have an extraterrestrial origin.
Additionally, there has been no discovery of life on other planets, nor has there been any scientifically supported evidence for extraterrestrial life.
