Elle Fanning had a memorable response after receiving a message from Jack Black, following her description of him as ‘sex on legs’.
In the past, Fanning expressed her admiration for the Tenacious D star, highlighting him as one of her significant crushes.
While Black may not typically be grouped with heartthrobs like George Clooney or Chris Hemsworth, Fanning boldly referred to him as ‘the hottest man I’ve ever seen in my life hot. Like sex on legs.’
Considering Black’s lively energy, comedic talent, and confidence, coupled with his skills in music, it’s understandable why he might be appealing to her.
However, there is an age difference, with Fanning being 27 and Black 56.
During an interview with Access Hollywood, the School of Rock star was informed about Fanning’s unexpected crush, and his reaction was shown to her.
“Congratulations on your awards,” Black commented to Access Hollywood. “You make me very embarrassed with all this hall pass talk.”
With his eyes closed, he added: “Look, I’m very flattered, but I have to keep my eyes closed because I am so embarrassed.”
Keeping up the joke with his eyes shut, he blew her a kiss and said: “Much love to you and yours. Hi to your boyfriend as well, dude, I didn’t do anything.”
Reporters presented Black’s reaction to a thrilled Fanning.
Upon watching the clip, she exclaimed: “I love that! I was worried that he was gonna have like a restraining order against me or something, like sorry to your wife!
“No, I just love Jack Black, he’s the best, and I mean case in point.”
Fanning’s older sister, Dakota Fanning, 31, previously teased her about her admiration for Black during an appearance on Vanity Fair‘s Lie Detection Test series.
“You once called him ‘the perfect man’,” Dakota playfully reminded her sister, asking, “Would you leave your boyfriend if Jack Black declared his love for you?”
Laughing, Elle responded: “Gus doesn’t care.”
She then recounted how her boyfriend had met Black at the Golden Globes in 2024 and told him: ‘You’re her hall pass, by the way’.”
Black had humorously remarked: “She looks at me – which objectively is a goblin gremlin – and she sees this gorgeous creature.”
