Elon Musk has publicly responded to allegations that he had an affair with Nicole Shanahan, Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s wife as “total BS”.
He tweeted “This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night! I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic.”
Mr. Musk continued by claiming that he and Mr. Brin are still good friends and that they just attended a party together.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Mr. Musk had a brief liaison with Ms. Shanahan in the latter part of last year, citing sources familiar with the situation.
The lengthy friendship between the two well-known technology billionaires came to an end as a result, according to the newspaper, which also caused Mr. Brin to file for divorce earlier this year.
