Billie Eilish and Elon Musk have been clashing online regarding Musk’s potential trillionaire status.
Earlier this month, Musk, along with the Tesla board, approved the largest corporate compensation package ever, which could make Musk the first trillionaire in the world if he achieves specific objectives over the next decade.
Some of these objectives include producing 20 million Teslas within this period and introducing one million self-driving Robo-taxis for commercial use.
This agreement comes as Eilish, known for her song ‘BIRDS OF A FEATHER,’ criticized the world’s billionaires, urging them to contribute their wealth to charitable causes.
During the Wall Street Journal’s 2025 Innovator Awards, the 23-year-old Eilish expressed: “We’re in a time right now where the world is really, really bad and really dark, and people need empathy and help more than kind of ever, especially in our country.”

She continued, “If you have money, it would be great to use it for good things and maybe give it to some people that need it,” adding, “I love you all, but there’s a few people in here that have a lot more money than me and if you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?”
Following the news of Musk’s trillion-dollar deal, Eilish, who Forbes states has a net worth of $53 million, specifically criticized Musk, calling him a ‘f**king pathetic p**sy b***h coward’.
Musk has since responded with his own critical remarks about Eilish.
“She’s not the sharpest tool in the shed,” he commented about the singer on Twitter.
Many of Eilish’s fans quickly rallied to support her. One commented: “If that’s how he talks about a Grammy-winning artist, I can’t imagine what he thinks of the rest of us. Maybe it’s time he put the tools down and started listening instead of throwing shade.”
Another fan wrote: “You notice how he knows about these world issues he can help with, and he still chooses not to do anything. Oh Billie, you’ll always be right.”
“Calling Billie names doesn’t change anything. She raised a valid question about billionaires and responsibility,” someone else noted.
Another critic added: “Calling someone dumb for legitimately criticizing you is some elementary school sh*t.”
However, some argued that celebrities like Eilish shouldn’t dictate how others should spend their money.
“His money, his choice,” one Twitter user stated.
Another questioned: “Why do y’all like telling rich people how to spend the money they f**king worked for.”
Billie Eilish’s representative has been contacted for a comment.
