Elon Musk’s daughter responds fiercely as billionaire’s clash with Donald Trump persists

Elon Musk’s estranged daughter has responded to her father’s recent online conflict with President Donald Trump, and the situation has become quite intense.

Musk and his daughter have been on poor terms for quite a while, especially with the Tesla CEO’s assertion that his ‘son’ had died after his daughter transitioned.

Over the years, Musk’s comments have increasingly provoked his daughter, Vivian Wilson, prompting her to criticize him.

In an interview with the Financial Times from three years ago, the X CEO mentioned that his relationship with his daughter is strained because her school teaches ‘full-on communism,’ with the notion that ‘if you’re rich, you’re evil’.

However, he added that he maintains a ‘good relationship’ with his other seven children.

He remarked: “Can’t win them all.”

As of 2025, after the chaos of the past two weeks between Musk and Trump, Vivian has publicly criticized her father, showing that their relationship remains strained.

The conflict started when Musk and Trump had a falling out just before Musk’s DOGE tenure ended.

Their harsh exchanges on X and Truth Social have been widely covered by news outlets.

Previously, Musk and Trump enjoyed a friendly relationship until Musk left the administration. Things escalated when Musk criticized Trump’s ‘big beautiful bill,’ and Trump expressed ‘disappointment’ with Musk’s reaction.

Beyond politics, Musk accused Trump of not releasing all the Jeffrey Epstein files because he is allegedly mentioned in them.

“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files,” Musk claimed. “That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”

Now that the immediate fallout from the accusation has calmed, Vivian has rekindled the online criticism of her father.

The 21-year-old shared a video on her Instagram Stories laughing, captioned: “I love being proven right.”

She also said, “I do not want to comment,” before bursting into laughter.

Vivian continued with a Threads post featuring the song ‘Job Application’ by Chase Icon, writing underneath: “Such beauty in life.”

At least one person appears to be finding humor in the whirlwind of their dispute.

The latest development in their feud came when White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed the matter, describing it as an ‘unfortunate episode’.

In an interview with CNN, Leavitt stated: “This is an unfortunate episode from Elon, who is unhappy with the One Big Beautiful Bill because it does not include the policies he wanted. The President is focused on passing this historic piece of legislation and making our country great again.”
